The Opportunity

You will apply your quality expertise and experience to manage the Quality Assurance Program for ITRenew’s Sterling, Virginia site operations. This site is purposed for the receiving, processing and disposition of server rack systems and other corporate IT assets. You will manage a team of quality auditors to assess and continuously improve process and product quality. This position reports to the Director, Global Process & Quality.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivered products and services adhere to company and industry data security, workmanship and quality standards
  • Develop inspection, test and audit methods to measure and continuously improve processes, products, and outgoing quality performance
  • Coordinate quality auditor training, assignments and performance management
  • Lead root cause analysis and closed-loop corrective actions to resolve in-process and customer problem issues
  • Support the warehouse technician development and training certification program
  • Maintain site ESD-compliance through ongoing training and monitoring
  • Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity while maintaining quality and reliability standards
  • Develop, report and manage operational and quality performance metrics; including but not limited to process throughput efficiency, test yields, inspection and audit yields, and problem Pareto analysis
  • Support the Compliance Team with site certifications for quality, safety, security, and environmental management systems [ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Responsible Recycling (R2)]

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices with 5+ years of hands-on experience. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) preferred
  • High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
  • Able to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in constantly changing, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
